Aubrey Plaza is one of the funniest actresses on television, and she’s almost criminally underrated in the brilliant ‘Parks and Recreation’. In a new interview with ASOS, Plaza opens up about working with Amy Poehler on Parks and Rec, how she deals with her talk show appearances, and how she hopes she gets a chance to play Catwoman in her acting future.

When discussing working with Amy Poehler, she says, “Now that I know her, I'm like I can't believe she was my hero! No, she's awesome. Getting to be in a position where I get to make her laugh - or attempt to make her laugh - it's still really weird. But she's also one of my best friends."
She also discusses her take on talk shows, saying, “When I have to do talk shows, I have to treat it like some sort of weird performance art or else I can't deal with it because that situation is so unnatural for me. It goes against every instinct in my body. I think people mistake my silences and my awkwardness for some kind of control. But the first interview I ever did for [Jay] Leno, I almost passed out in the middle of it."

When discussing her future after Parks and Recreation, she mentions that it would ‘be cool’ to do a big action movie, and she’d love for an opportunity to possibly play Catwoman someday. Warner Brothers, are you listening? Plaza would definitely make a fantastic Catwoman, and she’d bring the perfect mix of snarky and sexy to the role. However, it seems as if WB is still keen on getting Anne Hathaway back for the role if they ever do a Justice League film, so we’ll just have to see how this progresses.
