Although it was a huge blow to fans of Avan Jogia when ‘Victorious’ was cancelled, they can now rejoice knowing that Jogia’s new ABC Family show ‘Twisted’ has been picked up.

Jogia spoke about the news in a Q & A, saying, "I am very excited to start working on the show! I had dinner with friends and family as I like to keep things pretty low key.” He also speaks about possible romance in the show, teasing, “Well, after spending most of his early teens in juvie, I think Danny won't be opposed to having some romantic interests.”
Jogia also opens up about the big themes revolving around the show, adding, “I think what interests me about Twisted, other than Danny as a character, is the show being about redemption. It’s essence is about how a community will react to something horrible and how they can be quick to blame people based on their past. It's something I think everyone has gone through on some level. It's also about lasting friendships and how people change."

Twisted premieres this summer on ABC Family, but Jogia’s also rumored to have secured a major role in the upcoming ‘Heart of Dance’, although nothing’s been officially confirmed yet. Overall, 2013 seems to be a pretty good year for Avan Jogia, especially considering that ‘Twisted’ isn’t even on air yet but already has solid reviews and a ton of buzz picking up.
