Canadian singer Avril Lavigne has revealed how she has joined forces with The X Factor judge LA Reid, after joining Epic Records following her departure from RCA. Avril and LA have worked together in the past, when he signed her up at the age of 15.
Lavigne took to her official Twitter account to make the announcement. She tweeted, "I am now on Epic Records and finally working with LA Reid again (he signed me when I was 15) re-inspired :)". The move comes following the flop of her latest album.
Goodbye Lullaby was released back in March but has only managed to shift a poor 277,000 copies, a huge drop from her previous albums. Avril Lavigne will be hoping that teaming back up with LA Reid will bring back the success that made her a household name.
