Dani Alves believes Jack Wilshere is the heir to Xavi and Andres Iniesta's throne and thinks Barca should sign him. Alves was impressed by Wilshere when England beat the Samba stars 2-1 at Wembley earlier this month.

Jack Wilshere has been at Arsenal since the age of nine
“He is a great player who we have met playing against Arsenal and without doubt he can reach the height of the players we have here at Barcelona like Xavi and Iniesta,” Alves said.
“He has a lot of quality and a great personality. If I was given the chance to choose, he is a player that I would sign for Barcelona.”

Barcelona have a history of signing Arsenal's best players
Wilshere, 21, signed a new deal with Arsenal - where he has been since the age of nine - in December, tying him to the club until 2018.
Alves also commented Barca's next opponent in the Champions League AC Milan:
“They will be difficult opponents because of the tradition that they have in the competition.
“You have to show them respect. Milan is not experiencing its greatest period but these will be special games.
“We can’t think about what Milan is going through, we just have to play our football and work hard because we know they are going to be tough games.”
Barca face AC Milan in the Champions League last-16 in Italy on Wednesday.
