While there have been a lot of exciting revelations at the San Diego Comic Con for the likes of Avengers: Age of Ultron and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, there was not a great deal to get excited about from the Arrow panel. For this reason, it seems that there are some people who are trying to read too much into what was revealed and come up with some interesting ideas, although also quite far-fetched.
What we did learn about Arrow season three from San Diego Comic Con was the fact that we are going to get an episode which is dedicated to the back story of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). It was confirmed that the title for this episode will be Oracle, which has led to some people to suggest that we will see Batgirl make an appearance in Arrow season three.
There will no doubt be some of you wondering how anyone could assume that we will see Batgirl in Arrow season three simply because the title of the episode is Oracle. Well, Oracle could refer to the character that was played by Barbara Gordon, who people are suggesting we will see as an MIT student in the Felicity flashback episode. This could then lead to us seeing Batgirl in present day Starling City.
Not only have people suggested that we will see Batgirl in the Oracle episode of Arrow season three but they have also suggested that it could then lead to a Batgirl series being made in the future. Of course, this is all speculation for now and we are not fully convinced that we will even see Batgirl in Arrow season three.
