We still have just under two years until we finally get to see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hitting the big screen but that has not stopped there being plenty of talk about the project on an almost daily basis. A lot of fans have been very disappointed with the casting of the movie and it will be interesting to see if these stars can win the critics over with their performances.
One actor who received a bit of a backlash for his casting in the movie is Jesse Eisenberg, who will play the role of Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Jesse has been talking about playing the character, revealing how the process of bringing the personality of Lex Luthor to life was developed.
Eisenberg was doing a rather extensive interview with Total Film, when he told them, "There are some indications of how the character should behave based on the script, and then as actor makes it his or her own."
He added, "I got to know one of the writers really well, Chris Terrio, and we were able to discuss things at length and figure out who this person is to create a real psychology behind what is, perhaps, in a comic book, a less than totally modern psychology. I can only say I've been asked to play an interesting role: a complicated, challenging person."
Fans will get to give their views on the performance of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens on March 25, 2016 in the US, before then hitting the big screen in the UK on April 29.
Do you think Jesse Eisenberg will make a good Lex Luthor?
