Now that Warner Bros. and DC have finally got their acts together and are beginning to make a serious move with their movies, there has actually been a little bit of confusion over some of their projects. Following the success of the Superman movie Man of Steel, it was expected that their next project would be the Man of Steel sequel and this certainly seemed to be the case.
However, as Man of Steel 2 grew, more and more DC superheroes began to come on board and the film was soon titled Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, rather than Man of Steel 2. This led to many to assume that the next Superman standalone movie will then be titled Man of Steel 2, although there are still some people are still refer to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as Man of Steel 2.
This has led to some confusion among fans, with some small debates going on about whether or not Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice should actually be referred to as Man of Steel 2. Well, while we feel it does not really matter all that much, we do not think that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice should be referred to as Man of Steel 2 and that the next Superman solo movie should instead
With that said though, there might not really be any need for a Man of Steel 2 at all, as the new Superman movie could use a completely different title all together. But, like we said, does it really matter?
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will open on March 29, 2016 in the US and April 29, 2016 in the UK.
