The more people talk about the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the more we get excited about the project and there has been plenty of talk about the movie in recent weeks, which has sent our excitement levels through the roof. Everyone has an opinion on the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, with most fans expecting the film to be quite spectacular.
Well it seems that these expectations could be well founded, especially if DC Entertainments co-publisher Jim Lee's recent comments are anything to go by. Jim was talking about director Zack Snyder and how he uses the comic book source material, insisting that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be even better than people are expecting.
Lee was chatting to Variety about the movie, when he stated, "Zack is a comic book fan and draws inspiration from the comics. He doesn’t need to be given advice. He’s a talented filmmaker. He’s a super stylized visualist. He’ll do stuff no one has ever done with the caped crusader and blow everyone away. He knows how to take the sensibility of comicbooks and do what other filmmakers don’t know how to do."
He added, "I know a lot of filmmakers will look at the source material and what we capture on paper and translate that entirely onto film, but it shouldn’t be a literal translation of the comic books themselves. We work in a medium that has no end. A film should have a beginning, middle and end and resolution until the next one comes out. We’re telling a story every single month. They’re different sensibilities."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will open on April 29, 2016 in the UK and May 6, 2016 in the US.
