It has been reported that the BBC have set their sights on signing up Kylie Minogue as a judge for the television singing competition The Voice. It is believed that they are set to offer the Australian singer an incredible £1million to agree to be a judge on the show.
A BBC insider explained, “We have held initial discussions with her but unfortunately we are not yet at the stage where a deal has been done. We’d love to have her on the show but we can’t offer contracts the same size as The X Factor so money could be the stumbling block.”
It seems highly unlikely that Kylie Minogue will agree to take part, as Kylie’s management have demanded a sum of £2.5million, which the BBC simply cannot afford. UK singer Jessie J has already signed on to be one of the judges on The Voice.
