Is it just us or does it feel like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has taken forever to get made. It feels like we have been talking about the project for years now, which we kind of have, and yet we still have almost two more years to wait before the movie finally hits the big screen. Let's hope that this long wait will be well worth it.
One of the biggest talking points about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been the casting for the film, with comic book fans complaining about pretty much every casting choice so far. One of the biggest casting complaints came when it was announced that Ben Affleck has been cast in the role of Bruce Wayne aka Batman for the movie.
However, Ben Affleck has not let the critics get to him and he is focusing on giving the best performance that he possibly can. The New York Times spoke to Ben about the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice script and the actor said that Chris Terrio has delivered a script that is "really unique to the genre and really smart," while also admitting that he is "having a blast" on the project.
While we are not thrilled about Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, we are going to give him the benefit of the doubt and not judge him until we have seen his performance in the movie. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit the big screen on March 25, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
