There were a few key talking points at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards but none more so than the fact that Kanye West was nowhere to be seen. Kanye was the nights biggest winner taking home no less than seven awards but was not there to collect them.
Fortunately though, that did not detract too much from the night, which was still a huge success, thanks to some fantastic performances from the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Missy Elliot and 2 Chainz. Not to mention the great job that Mike Epps did hosting the event.
