It seems that Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood is having quite a lot of difficulty getting his A Star is Born remake off the ground, as they keep facing set back after set back. A Star is Born had to be delayed when Beyoncé fell pregnant last year and now it appears that the star has pulled out of the project all together.

While there has been no official comment from either Beyoncé, Eastwood or Warner Bros over the reasons for the singers departure, sources close to the project claim that her schedule has just become too packed. A Star is Born is also still without a male lead and a start date.
A Star is Born centres around a young, up and coming singer who falls for an aging fading star and Beyoncé was set to play the role that was made famous by Barbara Streisand back in 1976. That leaves Clint Eastwood with more work on his hands than he would have liked, with no male or female leads signed onto the project.

It is believed that Clint Eastwood and Warner Bros are in talks with Bradley Cooper about playing the male lead but no offer has yet been made and he too has a rather busy schedule. At this rate it could be quite some time before the Clint Eastwood A Star is Born remake gets going and even longer before it hits the big screen.
