Singer Beyonce has been talking about her relationship with Jay-Z, admitting that she would not be able to live without him. Beyonce has revealed how she and Jay-Z started out as just good friends and would talk to each other on the phone for hours, before they ever even went on a date.

While she was talking to Oprah, Beyonce explained, "I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man. It just gives me such a foundation. We were friends first... Before we went on any dates, we were on the phone for a year and a half. That foundation is so important in a relationship, and just to have someone that you just like is so important and someone that is honest!"
Beyonce and Jay-Z may have started out as just friends but they have certainly grown into a fantastic couple. Jay-Z and Beyonce married each other on April 4, 2008. It was revealed in August 2011 that Beyonce was pregnant and she gave birth to baby Blue Ivy on January 7, 2012.
