Singer Beyonce is possibly one of the most talented vocalists in the World today but she has admitted that getting to the top has not come without its sacrifices. Beyonce says that, despite having to make these sacrifices, she does feel very blessed to be regarded as one of the leading ladies in music.

Beyonce explained to GQ magazine, “I worked so hard during my childhood to meet this goal: By the time I was 30 years old, I could do what I want. I’ve reached that. I feel very fortunate to be in that position. But I’ve sacrificed a lot of things, and I’ve worked harder than probably anyone I know, at least in the music industry.”
She added, “So I just have to remind myself that I deserve it. I love my job, but it’s more than that: I need it. Because before I gave birth, it was the only time in my life, all throughout my life, that I was lost. I now know that, yes, I am powerful. I’m more powerful than my mind can even digest and understand.”

Beyonce is currently married to rapper Jay-Z and the couple have a young baby daughter together, named Blue Ivy. Beyonce and Jay-Z are good friends with Kanye West, who is currently expecting a baby of his own, with girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
