Blake Lively, as the new face of Gucci's new fragrance, has made an appearance at the Gucci Premiere Fragrance Launch at Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy. Lively, while not representing any films at the Venice Film Festival, made an appearance in support of her new brand.
It seems that since Lively has gotten together with Reynolds, her appearances and roles have significantly diminished. Now, this could just be because she's waiting for Gossip Girl to finish wrapping, since it has finally reached its last year of filming. It could also mean that she and Reynolds have a very serious relationship, and she has decided to put her career on hold to concentrate more on the relationship. Last year, at this time, she has two films in production, and a major deal with Chanel. Even though she's still very busy on the fashion and beauty front, her film roles have dried up. Granted, that could very well be due to 'Savages' wildly underperforming, and her performance being panned, along with everyone else's.
However, she is still staying high-end on the fashion front - Gucci is a premiere brand, and anyone who had worries that anything Lively picked after Chanel would be a downgrade need not have worried.
