You would expect that being involved in the Hollywood industry and everything that comes with it from such a young age, you would find that the difficult things begin to get much easier and you do not get flustered by the things that used to affect you. However, that is not necessarily the case, with some experienced stars still struggling with some of the little things.
Hollywood actress Blake Lively has been in the acting game for many years now and has appeared on many a red carpet during the course of her career but that does not mean they get any easier for her. Blake says that she still struggles with the red carpet appearances, finding them to be very intimidating.
Lively dished to the Huffington Post that she uses her hair as a distraction, "I hide behind it a bit because red carpets can be intimidating. And when my hair is in my face, I feel less exposed. I am so not confident on the red carpet. I just sit there thinking, 'What would Gisele (Bundchen) do?' It is such a sensory overload."
While Blake is clearly not comfortable with the red carpet appearances, she has revealed that she has found a way to cope with them much better. The actress claims that she often uses her acting skills to pretend that she is someone else, somewhere else, doing something else.
Lively continued, ''I'm not comfortable as me standing in front of 500 photographers, so I have to go somewhere else and pretend that I'm the confident person you hopefully expect me to be."
As for her acting career, Blake Lively can next be seen on the big screen, starring alongside Harrison Ford, Michiel Huisman, and Amanda Crew in the movie The Age of Adaline, which is set to open in both the US and the UK sometime in 2015.
