The timing seems apt as Lively doesn't have any upcoming projects that she's promoting, apart from the last season of Gossip Girl, so one could construe the interview almost as a pre-marital interview. Lively speaks about her state of mind right now, saying “Right now, I’m so peaceful. I’ve never been happier in my life,” “It’s the choice that you have to wake up every day and say, ‘There’s no reason today can’t be the best day of my life.’”
She also talks about how many children she wants, saying “I’ve always wanted a big family. Oh, I’d love 30 [children] if I could.”
The issue also focuses on her body image, where Lively speaks up and replies that “I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I’d rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South.”
She seems to be trying to change her image over the last year, especially considering that she's now married. A year ago, her public image was drastically different, with appearing in Gossip Girl and 'The Town', and dating Leonardo Dicaprio. Now, she's married quietly to Ryan Reynolds and hasn't been in the public eye in a while. She's also been giving a lot of interviews where she discusses how much she likes to stay home and relax. In the midst of all this, it isn't hard to wonder if she's also trying to appeal to a certain type of audience so she can grow her fanbase.
