When Blake Lively become a household name with her role in the hit television series Gossip Girl, many thought that we had a new Hollywood leading lady on our hands, who would go on and become one of he biggest actresses in the business. Unfortunately, it has not quite worked out like that for Blake, although she is still managing to land some interesting movie roles.
It has recently been revealed that Blake Lively has been cast in the lead role for the new movie All I See Is You, which will see the actress taking on the role of a blind woman, who manages to regain her full sight. Starring alongside Blake Lively in All I See Is You will be Jason Clarke and it seems that director Marc Foster is delighted at getting to work with two such talented stars.
While announcing the casting news earlier this week, Foster explained, "Blake is an amazing actress with a huge onscreen presence who I know will bring enormous talent to the role, and Jason is captivating, strong and fearless in his work. It is inspiring to me as a filmmaker to get the opportunity to work with the both of them."
Before then though, we have another Blake Lively movie project to look forward to, as the actress stars alongside Harrison Ford, Michiel Huisman, Ellen Burstyn, and Amanda Crew in the upcoming movie Age of Adaline, which is directed by Lee Toland Krieger and is set to hit the big screen on April 24 in the US, before then opening in the UK on May 8.
