Culture Club singer Boy George has spoken out to criticise the new Eminem single Rap God for its homophobic lyrics. Boy George says that the song is very offensive and outdated in its views and he feels that Eminem should be ashamed for releasing such a song.
The lyrics to Rap God include "Breaking a motherf**king table over the back of a couple f*ggots and crack it in half," as well as, "You f*gs think it's all a game." Meanwhile, the second verse has the line, "Little gay-looking boy / So gay I can barely say it with a straight face-looking boy / You witnessing massacre like you watching a church gathering taking place-looking boy / Oy vey, that boy's gay, that's all they say looking-boy."
Boy George decided to take to his official Twitter account, where he slammed, "@Eminem Fag? Is this really recovery talk or are you running your own program these days?"
However, Eminem has spoken out in defence of his use of the words "fag" and "faggot", telling Anderson Cooper that they are just used as a general insult where he grew up and were not aimed directly at homosexuals.
