The world of online gaming is getting bigger and bigger all the time and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars have even revealed their online gaming addictions. Zac Efron, Daniel Craig and Snoop Dogg have all admitted to having an addiction to the hit game Halo but some stars have gone even further than just being addicted.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney joking around
Brad Pitt and George Clooney starred in the Ocean’s 11, 12 and 13 movies, while there has also been a rumour about a possible Ocean’s 14 being filmed in Macau. Brad and George are also good friends off-screen and have both invested a lot of money in luxury Vegas casinos, like the Vegas Casino Complex.
While the casino business is huge worldwide, it has also been claimed that Brad Pitt and George Clooney could be set to invest in online gaming. Online gaming sees a lot of money being played every day and when the celebrities get involved, that money can become very lucrative indeed.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon play poker regularly
Actor, writer and director Ben Affleck has been known to put down a lot of money while playing online games and he has also been a big winner in the past. Ben once managed to take home $356,400 in an online poker tournament back in 2004, which led to him winning a seat on the WPT 2005 Championship.
The New York Times recently looked into online gaming and the money that comes with it. While they focussed on games such as Halo and Starcraft, which appear on sites such as GameSpot.com and Twitch.tv.
However, not everybody is an online gaming fan and some people are more interested in their art than their money. Hollywood star Sean Penn recently told the Guardian that he finds it hard to accept that some actors are more interested in making money than they are about making good films.
