Legendary cyclist Lance Armstrong has gone from hero to zero, after being found guilty of being a drugs cheat. Now, Hollywood writer, producer and director J.J. Abrams has revealed how he is planning on making a movie about his career and how he fell from grace.
After J.J. Abrams revealed his plans for the Lance Armstrong movie, a number of Hollywood stars were linked to playing the lead role. One such star was Silver Linings Playbook actor Bradley Cooper, who has since come out and admitted that he would love to play the role of Lance Armstrong.
Bradley says that he finds the whole situation very fascinating and would love to bring the truth of it all to the big screen, "I would be interested in that. I think he's fascinating. What a fascinating character," Cooper told the BBC.
J.J. Abrams is set to make the Lance Armstrong movie with his partners at the production company Bad Robot, after they managed to acquire the movie rights to the Juliet MACur, upcoming book Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong.
Other actors to be linked to the role of Lance Armstrong include Jake Gyllenhaal, Matthew McConaughey and Matt Damon.
