New Bravo reality TV show, Platinum Hit has added even more judges to the shows already star studded list. Taio Cruz and Jermaine Dupri are the latest to agree to the rotating judging panel which already includes Donna Summers, Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield and many more.
Platinum Hit is a songwriting competition and will be hosted by Jewel and former American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi. The contestants will be fighting it out to win a deal with Sony’s RCA/Jive imprint and one of the judges will be RCA/Jive senior VP of A&R Keith Naftaly.
The contestants will face a variety of song writing tasks each week. The winner out of the 12 contestants will be the one that makes it through the 10 week show without being sent home. Jewel explained, “Collaborations are essential to the show, it's a battle of ideas to a complete song. The awkward moments that [arise during the collaborative process] are essential to making it watchable."
