Former Westlife singerr Brian McFadden has revealed how he has been receiving a number of death threats on Twitter from One Direction fans. Brian upset the One Direction fans, when he claimed that Irish member Niall Horan would be the first one to walk out of the band.

One Direction are the biggest boyband around
He said at the time, "He comes across as the guy who'll probably follow in my steps and Robbie [Williams]'s steps and be the first to leave. All the ones that leave first always have that same kind of twinkle in their eye; they're a bit bold, a bit naughty! I reckon Niall's the naughty one. Maybe because he's Irish I suppose and the rest of the boys are from England, but he does remind me of the boys from Westlife quite a bit."
This did not go down too well with the One Direction fans, who are always quick to hit back at anybody who does or says anything negative about One Direction. Brian says that the Westlife fans were pretty bad but that these One Direction fans are over the top.

Brian McFadden in his Westlife days
McFadden told Now Magazine, "It's ridiculous. I'm getting death threats on Twitter. Their fans are worse than Westlife fans were." However, he did have some words of advice for the boys, “They can't start hating each other. That's the one thing in Westlife we never did. When you fall apart like 5ive did, you can't be successful," he added.
It is not the first time that One Direction fans have issued death threats on Twitter and, despite the bands attempts to get them to stop, it will not be the last.
