Marvel writer and film consultant Brian Michael Bendis has been talking about the script for the Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy. Brian has praised James Gunn for the work that he has done on the script and says that he is very excited for the movie.

Bendis explained to Newsarama, “I’m not allowed to say anything specific — it’s a great script. It really turned out great. James Gunn did a really great job. I read the last draft — ‘Oh please, don’t suck, because I’ve already invested part of my life into this’ — and I was like, ‘Oh, this is great! This is going to be a lot of fun!’”
He added, “It’s a very unique experience of writing the comic while the movie is getting ready to go. Every day people hear something about the movie. That’s very cool, because we’ve been helping with it secretly for years.”

There has been plenty of talk about who will be playing which characters in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, with a whole host of names linked to the role of Star-Lord. Most recently it was claimed that Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler were being lined up for the roles of Rocket Racoon and Groot.
