With Wonder Woman leading the way for female led superhero movies, we are all very excited to see what Marvel can do with the Captain Marvel movie, which will see actress Brie Larson starring in the lead role. Before then, we will get to see Brie making her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the stunning star has been sharing what she loves about working on the character.
Larson was promoting her directorial debut Unicorn Store at the Toronto International Film Festival, when she touched on playing Captain Marvel, saying, "That’s one of the things that I’m so impressed with at Marvel – is that although they are this big company, at the same time their stories are really character driven and they care a lot about the journey of these characters and they understand that these films are a metaphor for the things that are very real in our lives."
She then went on to add, "There’s been a lot of talk about it, they’re really open to the things I have to say about it, and it’s super collaborative. It feels like any other job at this point, which is really wonderful."
We already know that we are going to get to see Brie Larson making her debut as Captain Marvel in the upcoming new Marvel movie Avengers: Infinity War, before she will then go on to star in her own solo movie. Unfortunately there will be a long wait for the Captain Marvel standalone film, as it is not expected to hit the big screen until March 8, 2019.
