Jack Whitehall was chosen the "King of Comedy" for the third consecutive year at the British Comedy Awards and in the process reaffirmed his status as one of England's favourite comedians. However, the funny man is so busy with filming that he was unable to receive his award so he recorded a message with his father and had that broadcast instead.
However, making jokes is not his only talent as he is also an actor who has become very popular on television in shows such as "Fresh Meat" and "Bad Education" and has voiced characters in movies such as "Frozen". His part in the latter movie was cut out and as he revealed in an interview with Metro he has had some difficulty letting go of the fact that he was cut from the Disney hit.
Interestingly, with his frustration at being cut out of the movie came the revelation that the star of "Jack Whitehall Gets Around" comedy tour is a huge fan of the "Lion King" movie and in particular the villain 'Scar' played by Jeremy Irons.
Jack Whitehall did get some 'closure' by singing with Frozen soundtrack star Demi Lovato at the Royal Variety Performance but his disclosure about his wanting to play a villain if possible if there is a "Frozen" sequel suggests that he also might be 'open' to the possibility of playing a villain in a drama.
With his humour it is possible that the star comedian would be great in a villain role in a movie such as "Batman", "Spiderman" or maybe even a movie such as one of the "Bourne" movies.
Jack Whitehall as villain? It could happen and if ever there was a time for him to strike while the iron is hot now would be the time as his popularity among fans is very high so fans should not be surprised if an announcement is made in 2015 of him being chosen for a villain role in either England or the United States.
