There seems to be a real trend of models deciding to make the move into the acting industry in recent years, to try and see if they have what it takes to mix it with the best that the acting world has to offer. We have seen plenty of models going on to enjoy successful acting careers, proving that they do have the acting talent to make it, while there are others who have simply flopped and gone running back to modelling.
Lucy Pinder has enjoyed a successful modelling career
British glamour model Lucy Pinder has enjoyed a long and successful career in the modelling industry and she has tried her hand at the acting game a few times over the years. During the course of her career to date, we have seen Lucy appearing in the movie Strippers vs Werewolves, which was released in 2012, as well as having a role in the short film The Seventeenth Time, which was released in 2014.
Meanwhile, we will next see Lucy Pinder appearing in the upcoming British movie Age of Kill, which will see her appearing alongside the likes of Martin Kemp, Dexter Fletcher, April Pearson, Patrick Bergin, and Donna Air, among others. Age of Kill is directed by Neil Jones, based on the script developed by Simon Cluett, with the movie opening in the UK on June 15.
Could we see more acting from the model?
At the age of 31, Lucy Pinder does still have a few years left in the modelling industry, as she is still a very beautiful woman but it will be interesting to see if she decides to try and make more of her acting career. With a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck, Lucy could well see herself landing a role in a big Hollywood movie in the future. We will just have to wait and see.
