Britney Spears shows the benefit of having a young performer who can connect to the younger generation in Las Vegas. The superstar music entertainer has been credited with helping bring a new, younger audience to her residency act "Piece of Me" at Axis in the Planet Hollywood venue from the moment she arrived in December 2013 that has resulted in over $20 million in profits to the hotel.
To reward the entertainer and show their appreciation for her sensational performances Caesar's Entertainment has given her a significant boost to her pay so that she will now receive $475,000 per show, a raise of $150,000 and compensation that puts her in the range of Las Vegas queen Celine Dion who is currently taking time away from the Strip to take care of her husband.
She has been selling out every show at the Axis and fans on social media who have attended her show have made it clear that her performances are even better than described and have resulted in star entertaiment personalities such as Mario Lopez taking time from their busy schedules to be part of her cutting-edge act which includes some S&M related performances.
Not only did she receive a pay raise that ensures her compensation is greater than fellow entertainer Jennifer Lopez who reportedly is about to sign a Las Vegas residency deal but she will also be receiving a key to the Las Vegas Strip and be given her own day at the LINQ Promenade on November 5.
Britney Spears has reinvented herself in Las Vegas and in the process has become one of the hottest performance attractions on the Strip and a gold mine for Caesar's Entertainment as a magnet for the younger generation. Seems the most fun in Las Vegas is taking place at Planet Hollywood with Britney Spears and its going to continue for the foreseeable future.
