Brock Lesnar won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt against long-time champion John Cena and while there are rumours that the win enables the WWE to build up excitement for a rematch between the two wrestlers there is also another aspect to consider and that is movies.
He is known for not falling 'prey to the hype' but as some social media entertainment observers and fans can attest his popularity and name recognition has never been higher with his win against the 15-time world champion. There are some entertainment observers who believe that the wrestler would be a great villain in a movie and with his recent win at Summer Slam and comments toward Hulk Hogan it seems as if he might be moving in that direction.
There have been no rumours about him taking on a movie as wrestling fans have been focused on how dominant he looked against John Cena in Summer Slam which has brought great respect to the latter because few wrestlers would have been so 'giving' in being defeated.
Part of the 'alleged' plan of the WWE is to make Brock Lesnar "separate from the pack" and thus they can create various competitions among the other fighters almost like a tournament to earn the right to fight against the champion from Minnesota. However, could another reason be that it will also give him the opportunity to film roles in movies as maybe a 'villain' while the other fighters compete to get the fan support and show that they are 'worthy' of a title fight against him.
He is 'daring' John Cena to come back for a rematch and building excitement for a rematch but there are other fighters who will likely want to fight John Cena for that opportunity and thus they will likely provide him the time to film a movie role if he decides to venture in that direction.
Brock Lesnar as a 'bad guy' in a movie might be a great role at this stage of his career and with his recent wrestling 'persona' after the win against John Cena it looks as if he is moving in this direction.
