When it comes to a show such as Dancing With The Stars there are always going to be a few changes in the line up and the format from time to time, so it was no major surprise to learn that Brooke Burke had decided not to return as host for the new season of the show. Brooke announced her departure a few months back and her exit has been met with mixed response from fans.
Despite some fans feeling that Brooke Burke has made the wrong decision to leave Dancing With The Stars, she insists that she has made the right choice and is still very happy with her decision. Brooke says that she felt it was the perfect time to leave the show and has no regrets about her decision.
Burke told E! News, "I feel good about it. I mean, I'm excited about this time and change and I'm really committed to doing something creative and, you know, being free from that ABC contract now allows me to do anything. So that's a really great feeling. I think I left at the right time."
The producers of Dancing With The Stars did not mess around when it came to hiring a replacement for Brooke Burke and, just two days after the announcement of her departure from the show, it was confirmed that Erin Andrews had been brought on board. Brooke has now given her views on her replacement, claiming that she does not believe that Erin is right for the job.
Burke added, "I'm not sure they made the right choice—I won't get into that. But I'm so fortunate that my fans are so loyal and supportive and, you know, I have no hard feelings. I wish them all a huge success, but I think I did everything I could do in the ballroom and I think it was a good time to move on."
Do you think Dancing With The Stars was right to replace Brooke Burke with Erin Andrews?
