Being the son of one of the biggest sports stars to ever grace the planet is always going to be difficult, so when you also have a mother who was a member of the biggest girl band in the world, then things can become very difficult for you to find your own identity. That is certainly the battle which faces the youngster Brooklyn Beckham, who is the oldest son of David Beckham and Beckham.
Brooklyn Beckham is still in the process of studying but there has already been a lot of talk about what he is going to do with his life once his studies come to an end. Well, if the latest reports are to be believed, then it seems that Brooklyn is actually going to go and work with his mother Victoria Beckham and assist her with her fashion empire.
A supposed insider explained, "When he finishes this summer at his college in North London, he's going to work for Victoria. She thinks he has a fantastic eye for fashion and is very talented - he'll have a creative/photography type role. Victoria is in the process of securing a new office in West London - she wants to open more ships, with New York being the next location, and she wants Brooklyn to be involved."
The source added, "They're very close and he spends a lot of time following her around the world, giving her advice on her work ... He steps in to look after her when David is away. Nobody makes her laugh as much as Brooklyn does. David and Victoria have brought Brooklyn up as normally as possible. They made him get a job and learn the value of money, but they know now that he is a target for girls. They've done all they can to tell him to be careful about who he dates. The money and the fame make him all the more of a catch."
It is definitely interesting to learn that Brooklyn Beckham is actually going to follow in the footsteps of his mother and go down the fashion route, when you consider the fact that there was once a lot of talk about the youngster actually following in the footsteps of his father and becoming a professional footballer. We are sure that Brooklyn will find his own place in time, but for now we just watch with great intrigue.
