Following the success of the movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which went on to make over $300m worldwide, it was inevitable that a sequel to the movie would be made. Sure enough, the sequel was given the green light and we are just days away from seeing it.
Hollywood veteran Bruce Willis is set to appear on the big screen in the movie sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation, as General Joe Colton. With the movie set to be released this month, Bruce, and the rest of the cast, have been doing their promotional duties and Bruce has admitted that he feels honoured to be playing the role.
During an interview about the upcoming movie, Willis explained, "It's an ambitious film. ..It's a big cast...It combines big action, big action stars and comedy....It's an honor for me to play General Joe Colton."
As well as starring Bruce Willis, G.I. Joe: Retaliation also stars Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Ray Stevenson, Adrianne Palicki and Ray Park. G.I. Joe: Retaliation is directed by Jon M. Chu, based on the script which was developed by Rheet Reese and Paul Werner, and is set to be released on March 27 in the UK and March 28 in the US.
