It has been claimed that singer Bruno Mars was responsible for helping to save the life of an 11-year-old girl who was involved in a car crash. The youngster Zumyah was left with severe physical difficulties and brain damage, while the accident also killed her mother and her two sisters.
It has now been claimed that the Staff at the UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio believe that Bruno Mars was the one who helped Zumyah through her recovery. Bruno Mars songs were constantly played to Zumyah, who began to make impressive progress thanks to the music.
Paediatric neurologist, Nancy Bass, explained to WKYC, "I am absolutely convinced that singing those Bruno Mars songs and being able to say 'Bruno Mars' is in itself a miracle ... knowing all the words to the songs has helped her recover. I asked her who her favourite singer was and she said, 'Bruno Mars' as quick as anyone would say any singer, and she just started singing every single word."
Meanwhile, Bruno Mars took to the stage on Saturday night in Cleveland, Ohio, where Zumyah was in the audience to watch her favourite singer perform. During the performance, Bruno took the time to dedicate a song to Zumyah, serenading her with her favourite song Just the Way You Are, as well as gifting her with his guitar and his signature fedora.
Following that performance, Mars then took to his official Twitter account to post a picture of himself with Zumyah, along with the caption, "Zumyah tonight you gave my band and I something we've never felt before. you're an inspiration to the world! #WeLoveYouZumyah".
We are glad to see that Zumyah is making a big recovery and we wish her all the best for the future.
