Hollywood actor Bryan Cranston has performed in a number of comedy roles over the years, as well as doing his fair share of drama and he admits that he loves to swap between the two genres.
Bryan played the role of Hal in Malcolm in the Middle from 2000 until 2006, for 151 episodes, before then taking on the role of Walter White in the hit series Breaking Bad. Cranston says that he loves it when people realise that Walter and Hal were both played by him.
Bryan explained, "Right. I was happiest when I kept hearing the comments, 'Wait, Walter White is the guy from Malcolm in the Middle?' That's the best praise I can get"
While Malcolm in the Middle has been finished for seven years now, you can still catch Bryan Cranston as Walter White, when Breaking Bad season five returns to AMC on Sunday, August 11, with the season five finale airing on September 29.
Meanwhile, Bryan Cranston will star with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Ken Watanabe in the reboot of the movie Godzilla, which opens on May 16, 2014 in both the US and the UK.
