There has been plenty of talk about the Star Wars movie franchise, since it was announced that Disney had bought LucasFilm and were making another sequel. Since then, there has been talk of a Young Han Solo spinoff movie being made and suggestions of who could play the role.

Nicholas Hoult tipped as Young Han Solo
Now, director Bryan Singer has tipped Nicholas Hoult to play the Young Han Solo role. Bryan recently worked with Nicholas on the movie Jack the Giant Slayer and will team up with him again for X-Men: Days of Future Past and Bryan says that Nicholas would be perfect for the role.
He told MovieFone, "I don't know anything, but I literally would not be surprised if something like that happened. I almost said something to Nick today about it, like, 'You know, I wouldn't be surprised if you find yourself in one of those.' But I have no idea, even though I'm working with Simon Kinberg every day and he is involved with that franchise, I have no information about that. It's just my own intuition."

Other names being linked to the role include Taylor Lautner, Zac Efron, Garrett Hedlund and Eddie Redmayne, to name just a few. There is no official confirmation of the Young Han Solo movie yet and it could be some time before the movie does hit the big screen.
