Henry Cavill was one of three actors to be screen tested as the new James Bond back in 2005, along with Avatar actor Sam Worthington and Layer Cake star Daniel Craig. We all, of course, know what happened there, as Daniel Craig prepares for his third James Bond movie.
However, Henry Cavill has not ruled himself out of the running to possibly play James Bond in the future. The British actor, who is set to star as Superman in the franchise reboot Man of Steel, does however admit that the chance to be Bond is still some way away.
Henry explained, "That would be absolutely amazing. If they approached me on that I'd leap at the opportunity to do it. But that's of course well away for the time being." Superman: Man of Steel is set to be released on June 14, 2013, while the next James Bond instalment is due out on October 26, 2012.
