21-year-old actress Sofia Black-D’Elia is one of those promising television stars that have a bright and promosing future ahead of them. The only issues is, will that future continue to be on the small screen or can Sofia make the transition to the big screen.

Sofia has been around for a few years now, starting out on All My Children back in 2009, where she went on to star in 28 episodes as Bailey Wells. Sofia then starred in the US version of the British show Skins and was one of the very few good points about the series, which was cancelled after one season.
Despite the setback of Skins being cancelled, Sofia Black-D’Elia did not let it get to her and managed to win the role of Sage Spence, in the hit television series Gossip Girl. However, Gossip Girl is another show that has come to the end of its run, so where does Sofia go from here.

Sofia Black-D’Elia has made an attempt to make a name for herself as a movie actress, appearing in the TV movie Criminal Justice, as well as having a go at an English accent in the film Born of War. With that said, neither of these films is likely to set the world alight, despite Sofia’s obvious talent.
Sofia Black-D’Elia may have to stick to the television work for a little while longer yet but she is definitely an actress that has all the attributes required to succeed at the highest level. Good luck Sofia.
