The career of British beauty Cara Delevingne has really taken off over the past few years, with the 22-year-old star slowly but surely beginning to dominate the entertainment industry. Cara has already become one of the biggest and most recognised models on the face of the Earth and, following her huge modelling success, she has decided to show that she has what it takes to mix it with the best that Hollywood has to offer on the big screen.
Cara Delevingne already has a number of interesting movies set to come out over the course of the coming years and it looks like she now has her sights set on one of the most iconic roles in movie history. It has been claimed that Cara would love to be a Bond Girl in the next James Bond movie and that she is actually already being considered for the role by the makers of the film.
A supposed source explained to The Mirror, "Cara hinted she would love to be involved, but the makers of Bond had already started considering her as somebody they would be interested in. Obviously she’s striking, she’s well known and she’s establishing herself as a talented actress. There would be a real buzz about getting her involved and the signs are all good. Everybody is excited."
If Cara Delevingne does land the role of a Bond Girl in the new James Bond film, she will join the returning cast of Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, as well as Ralph Fiennes and Rory Kinnear. Bond 24, as it is tentatively titled for now, is once again directed by Sam Mendes and has a planned release date of October 23, 2015 in the UK and November 6, 2015 in the US.
