Supermodel Cara Delevingne has become one of the biggest and best models on the planet over the past few years but, according to the model herself, she was not always confident of having a successful modelling career. Cara says that she did not expect anyone to want her modelling for them, as she looked like a weird gremlin.

That is certainly an interesting face
Delevingne was chatting to The Sun newspaper, when she told them, "I never thought people would actually want me to be a model. I was a very weird gremlin, awkward-looking child. I was a feral kid, a big tomboy. Beauty wasn't important at all and it still isn't in a way."
Cara Delevingne has an ever-growing fan base, which is already very impressive, but she recently admitted that she did not want to be seen as a role model for her fans. Cara did admit that she does think it is nice to have an influence and impact on people's lives but she does not feel that these people should try to be her.

Delevingne added, "I hope that I can influence young people and teach them that it is important and necessary to preserve your individuality. Look, you can admire people and be guided by them, but you should never imitate them."
As well as enjoying huge success in her modelling career, Cara Delevingne is also making a name for herself on the acting scene, with a number of movie projects heading our way. We think it is fair to say that the one we are all looking forward to seeing is Suicide Squad, which will see her playing the role of Enchantress.
