Carly Rae Jepsen an X-Factor judge? Entertainment and music observers are hearing rumours that Simon Cowell, the man who created "X-Factor" and is renowned for identifying music stars has his sights set on having the talented Canadian singer/songwriter be a judge on the "X-Factor" (J-14 - May 6).
One of the many things that Simon Cowell is known for is working with stars who he is confident can attract viewers or will be attracting viewers because of their upcoming projects.
He is rarely wrong when the topic is music talent and popular performers and he is usually 'way ahead of the curve' concerning each of the aforementioned which has some entertainment observers suspecting that he has likely heard all the songs on Carly Rae Jepsen's soon-to-be released E-M-O-T-I-O-N album and expects that fans from all over the world, in particular North America and Europe will be wanting to see and hear much more from this superb Canadian talent.
A great thing about Simon Cowell being interested in a performer such as Carly Rae Jepsen is that it makes many in the music industry and fans take notice because he not only is known for identifying talent but also his impatience and being blunt. He has not endorsed her new album but his wanting her to be a judge on his show would likely also result in her singing on the show similar to how she performed "I Really Like You" during a recent visit to "Dancing With the Stars" .
Her giving advice to aspiring singers and then showing them how to really 'sing' by her performing some of her songs would be a great way to draw fans to "X-Factor" and increase her popularity and name recognition with music lovers of all ages.
A new judge might soon be joining "X-Factor" and her name is Carly Rae Jepsen which if it does occur could be a win-win situation for her and the show.
