Celebrity Carmen Electra recently attended the prestigious 'White' Party in Palm Springs, California, a gay dance and music festival and for the 2014 event she was named 'Queen' of the night. She wore a form fitting white dress and accentuated the outfit with a head crown made of black crosses and the beautiful actress looked absolutely stunning.
She attended the event to receive the 'Icon' award because of her great support and friendship to White Party creator Jeffrey Sanker and the gay community. When people think of Carmen Electra they think of her attractive looks and her constantly being in the media eye for her celebrity marriages to individuals such as Dennis Rodman or her appearances in parody movies such as "Scary Movie" and "Date Movie" but this is a very small part of who she is.
In the gay community in California she is known for being one of the longtime supporters of the gay and lesbian community and has been appreciated greatly for her support.
She recently completed filming the starring role in the dramatic film "Lap Dance" about a woman who makes a pact with her fiance to work as an exotic dancer to care for her ailing father but the pact is broken and their lives are changed. In this role she is not trying to achieve laughs as she does in most of her roles but shows that she has dramatic range and entertainment insiders predict she will open the eyes of some filmmakers with her acting range.
She has also returned to the world of music as her music single "I Like It Loud" is once again part of the club music scene and she has a new single, "WERQ" with plans for a full album in the future.
Carmen Electra is back in the media spotlight as both an actress and music artist and entertainment insiders are predicting that the performances of this attractive entertainer on the big screen and in the music studio will earn her critical acclaim for her acting and singing talents.
