Caroline Sunshine, probably best known for her role on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up as foreign exchange student Tinka Hessenheffer, recently made a trip overseas to Dublin, Ireland; the purpose of this trip was to host an acting workshop on behalf of Universal Talent. She was also recently awarded the 2014 Emerging Teen Actor Award at the Irvine International Film Festival.
While it was invite-only, many up and coming actors and actresses were happy to be able to meet one of their role models in person at the event, which was held on January 18th at the Marker Hotel in Grand Canal Square. It was an excellent opportunity for fans of hers to get to meet her and get a good taste of where the entertainment industry could take them. While Caroline was the star of the show, there were other film and movie stars there as well as casting directors, talent managers, and agents.
That workshop came right on the heels of an award Caroline received on January 16th at the third annual Irvine International Film Festival. She had this to say about her award, "Thank you Irvine International Film Festival for honoring me with this years Emerging Teen Actor. Thrilled to dedicate this award to my beautiful parents."
One thing's for sure, with her past successes and her recent award to back them up, Caroline Sunshine is looking to be someone to keep an eye out for in future productions. Add to that her willingness to fly overseas to host a workshop for fans and you have a winning combination.
