There were plenty of rumours about who would be starring in Star Wars: Episode VII, when Disney revealed that they would be making the movie. It was claimed that the original trio of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia would all return to the franchise.
Since then, it has been confirmed that all three will indeed have some sort of role in Star Wars: Episode VII and Carrie Fisher has been talking about returning to the role of Princess Leia. Carrie says that she will be given a personal trainer, to help her get into great shape for the movie.
According to the Calgary Herald, Fisher revealed, "I’m glad they are doing a new movie because they are sending a trainer to my house so I can get in really good shape. So I’m really eating a lot of sugar in advance, as you can see. By the time I really get down to it I will have eaten everything."
The script for Star Wars: Episode VII is still being worked on by Michael Arndt, while the movie will be directed by J.J. Abrams. J.J. has admitted that, while Star Wars: Episode VII is currently expected for a 2015 release date, he could yet change that if he feels it is necessary.
