Former American Idol contestant Carrie Underwood has been linked to one of the vacant seats at the judges table for The X Factor USA and it seems that she might not be totally against the idea. Carrie says that she would never rule it out, although she does admit that she would find the early auditions difficult to get through.
Underwood was chatting with Glamour Magazine about the possibility of taking the job, when she explained, "I’d never say never. I think I could do things in a very constructive way. But those initial auditions, where you have to say no or tell someone to stop? I don’t know if I could do that."
Carrie Underwood certainly has the experience to give advice to the contestants on The X Factor USA, having gone through a similar process on American Idol, before becoming a global superstar. However, the singer does have a fairly busy schedule, with the rest of her tour with Hunter Hayes.
Following the exit of Britney Spears and LA Reid from The X Factor USA judging panel, there have been plenty of names linked to the empty seats. While it seems almost certain that Cheryl Cole will be making a return, other names linked to the show include Sharon Osbourne, Lady Gaga and Cher Lloyd.
