It has been revealed that the cast of the hit movie Kick Ass would love to make a sequel to the film. Actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who plays Red Mist in the movie, explained that they would all love to get together to make Kick Ass 2 but that other commitments were currently holding them back.
Christopher said "I want to [do a sequel]. We all want to, we just have to find the time. We're busy people." Rumours of a sequel spread quickly after the original was released and there is currently work being done the comic version of Kick Ass 2 by writer Mark Millar and artist John Romita Jr. However it is not guaranteed that this will be adapted into a big screen version.
It was rumoured that screenwriter Jane Goldman was currently adapting a screenplay for the project but she has since dismissed the rumours. The first issue of Kick Ass 2 was released in December last year and the second has since been released in March.
