Although it was recently reported that Danny Strong has just finished his draft of Mockingjay: Part I, it is being rumored that casting for the film has already begun.

Mockingjay is the third novel in the Hunger Games series
The NY Post, which usually has a good track record for reporting scoops like this, has said that not only is casting for Mockingjay underway, but UFC fighter Ronda Rousey has managed to land a role in the film.
If Rousey has actually managed to land a role in Mockingjay, she could very well be following the path of Gina Carano, the MMA fighter who has launched into movies with her action-packed turn in ‘Haywire’. A source close to Rousey told the NY Post, “There is a lot of interest in Ronda for movies, but she just won the biggest fight of her career and she's been focused on that."

Ronda Rousey rumored to have been cast in Mockingjay: Part I
While ‘Catching Fire’ is currently wrapping up filming this week, ‘Mockingjay’ presumably won’t begin filming until the end of the year. They usually don’t cast films this far in advance, but they usually begin talks for important roles months in advance. While there aren’t any major characters that are introduced in the third film, there are a lot of supporting characters that get their first moment as part of the rebellion in Mockingjay. Could Rousey have landed a minor supporting role in Mockingjay?
Mockingjay will be split into two different movies, Part 1 and Part 2
