The Hunger Games was arguably one of the biggest success movies of last year, leading to huge anticipation for the sequel, Catching Fire, which is released later this year. This time around, there is a different director on board, with new characters and cast members.
Director Francis Lawrence has been brought on board to helm The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, so there are bound some be some differences in style from the previous movie. Now, actor Toby Jones has been talking about a few of those differences between the two movies.
Jones was talking to Digital Spy at the Evening Standard Film Awards, when he explained, “They want to vary it from the first, but they obviously don't want to make a complete departure from it. They've got a very different way of dramatising the games in this one.”
As well as starring Toby Jones, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will see the return of the stars of the movie Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is directed by Francis Lawrence and is set to be released on November 22 in both the US and the UK.
