Cate Blanchett is known for her flawless skin, impeccable and daring red carpet choices, and her varied film career. She already has an Oscar, a deal with the high-end skin care brand SK-II, and now she's landed a prestigious deal with global fashion powerhouse Armani.
According to various reports, Blanchett's deal with Armani is worth $10 million and will have her representing Armani fragrances. Keep in mind that this a huge deal, especially because someone like Brad Pitt earned only $7 million for his Chanel deal.
Giorgio Armani has previously discussed his affection for Cate, telling everyone that she 'epitomizes' the women that he admires on the red carpet. Although Cate keeps her public appearances to a minimum when she's not promoting her films, she makes it a point to make a presence during the Armani fashion week shows.
Cate Blanchett's currently busy filming Monuments Men in Berlin, so she won't be able to shoot her ad before the film wraps. Monuments Men also stars Matt Damon, George Clooney, Jean Dujardin, Bill Murray, and John Goodman, and is rumored to be a drama based on a crew of museum curators and art historians who try to save famous works of art in Germany during WWII before Hitler destroys them all.
