Cate Blanchett has given an interview to Vogue about who she admires in fashion and her favorites among the new crop of young actresses.

Emma Stone at the MET Gala
When talking about fashion, she says, “I love what Raf [Simons] is doing at Dior, he's really clever - and I love Balenciaga, but Nicolas [Ghesquière] has left now, so it will be interesting to see what happens. I am really interested in fashion, I just wish I could get to the shows more."
She talks about wearing backless Givenchy for ‘The Hobbit’ premiere, saying, “It was pretty cold. I had a handwarmer, but it froze! I loved the dress though, I think Riccardo Tisci is absolutely great at Givenchy. It's not often you get the chance to dress up like that, so it's nice to make an effort. It was fun for my kids too - they got their first suits, from Ralph Lauren, so they were really excited. Normally I think 'disinterested' is the word I'd use [to describe the children's attitude towards my career], but films like The Hobbit give me brownie points - they saw it in Wellington first actually."

Mia Wasikowska in a magazine shoot
She also adds that she has a few favorites among Young Hollywood, saying, “Mia Wasikowska [is one of my favourite actresses] - she's not new exactly, but still - and Elle Fanning always looks great, she has a great sense of style. We've worked together a few times - she played the younger version of my character in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and my daughter in Babel. I love Emma Stone, too."
