Celebrity Baby Names - The Good And The Bad

With the weird and wonderful names celebrities give their children these days, we take a look at some of the less ordinary...

Thor actor Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky welcomed their baby daughter into the world and gave her the gorgeous name 'India'. It's just the right amount of exotic and unique, without being tacky. And we love that they use the nickname 'Indie.'

With A Lister parents like Beyonce and Jay-Z, Blue Ivy was bound to get a rare name.Few baby names have been dissected as much as Blue Ivy Carter's - Beyonce and Jay-Z are apparently big fans of the number 4, and 'blue' has musical references too, reportedly.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson called their baby girl Maxwell Drew, and got some stick for doing so. Although it's a little ironic that the super-girly Jessica gave her daughter a boy's name, Maxwell Drew pays homage to both sides of their families. Plus, the nickname Maxie gives the name a feminine spin.

Super hot couple Matthew McConaughey and Camilla Alves called their son Levi, which means 'connected' in Hebrew. It's a stylish name without trying to hard, and is perfect for the the gorgeous little mini Matthew.

For Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo, one name wasn't enoughh - so they mixed two together to get Aviana. It’s a blend of Ava and Ana; Ava comes from Chava, a Hebrew name meaning 'life,' and Ana comes from Channah, a Hebrew name meaning 'favoured grace.' Feminine and unique.

What's you favourite celebrity baby name?
